Contact Lenses 

Contact lenses may be a great solution for your vision needs.  At Yardley Vision Care,   Dr. Maisel will determine if you are a contact lens candidate. Dry eyes a problem?  You may enjoy daily replacement lenses.  Tired of taking your reading glasses on and off?  Dr. Maisel may recommend multifocal contact lenses.  Specialty contact lens services include fitting with scleral contact lenses for chronic dry eye or corneal scarring and keratoconic lenses that can help with irregular corneal surfaces and high astigmatism.  Contact lenses may also be used to slow the progression of near-sightedness.  Orthokeratology lenses can be used as “retainer” lenses when you sleep so that you may not have to wear glasses or contact lenses throughout the day.

Dr. Maisel will help determine if you are a good candidate for refractive surgery.  She comanages with ophthalmologists for refractive surgery and cataract surgery, as well as with retinal specialists for retinal and macular degeneration and glaucoma specialists when drops aren’t the best treatment.
