Pinal Dave, O.D.

Graduating in 2014 with honors in clinical sciences, Dr. Pinal Dave completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University in Philadelphia.
She is native to the city and completed her undergraduate with a B.S. in Chemistry from Temple University and was part of the 264th graduating class of Central High School in Philadelphia.

Dr. Dave specializes in fitting patients with Rigid Gas Permeable lenses and Scleral Lenses for keratoconus, dry-eyes and other corneal diseases.  She has a true passion for helping her patients and seeks the best technology for treating each patient’s specific condition. 

Dr. Dave provides comprehensive eye exams for both adult and pediatric patients. She completed the Pediatric Advance Track at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, which allows her to diagnose, treat and manage patients with amblyopia, strabismus (“eye turns”) and binocular vision issues.  She is certified as an Orthokeratologist.  Orthokeratology is a specialty focused on reducing the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) as children grow. 

Dr. Dave provides clinical eye exams with therapeutic management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, age related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy. 

Dr. Dave is married with two children and in her free time, she has a passion for dancing and is a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.
